Attorney Ayesha Chidolue, a daughter of immigrants, is an American-born Nigerian. Ayesha and two of her siblings were born in the U.S. before the family moved back to Nigeria, where her youngest brother was born.
After graduating high school, Ayesha moved back to America attending college in New York and then Law School in Washington D.C. shortly after. Understanding the value of American citizenship, Ayesha and her siblings filed for both of their parents. However, the process was not as easy for their youngest brother.
Although the rest of the family were all U.S. citizens, it took Ayesha's youngest brother 16 years after his application to finally become a U.S. Green Card holder. This experience was the catalyst that led to Ayesha's quest to help other individuals and families on their journey of immigrating and living in the United States.
